Last week, Tanner Digby, SIOR, President of Digby Commercial Advisors, attended the SIOR Fall 2025 Event in Louisville, Kentucky. The event brought together top-producing brokers from across the world, who hold one of the industry’s most respected designations, the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR). Over three days, members exchanged insight, strategy, and market intelligence shaping the future of commercial real estate. Tanner returned to Denver Friday morning and was back in full swing within the hour, speaking with half the team, making calls, and answering emails. His energy for the business never seems to slow down.
 
After a busy week of travel and connection, we caught up with Tanner to hear his key takeaways from the event. He shared what stood out most, what was most valuable connecting with other SIOR designees, and how those items relate to opportunities here in Colorado.

Q: What was one theme, discussion, or business practice that stood out most at the SIOR Fall Event?
Tanner: I was fortunate enough to hear how different top producing brokers are incorporating AI in their daily business and how we can enhance productivity by utilizing AI. In this industry, time is exceptionally valuable and finding ways to create more time in your schedule is paramount to success.
 
Q: What did you find most valuable about connecting with other SIOR members this year?
Tanner: The SIOR designation awarded based on maintaining high moral values in your business and broker-production. I joined SIOR because I want to surround myself with other successful top-producing brokers around the world. As such, it was refreshing getting out of the mundane day-to-day operations and get into a competitive environment with other likeminded individuals — iron sharpening iron! I left feeling more motivated to get back to what I enjoy doing most— Closing Deals!
 
Q: What insights from events like this help guide future strategy here at Digby Commercial Advisors?
Tanner: I was reminded of how important knowledge is, in this industry. You must be the “Go-To” individual for local market knowledge, local CRE statistics, and a connector for your clients. We have several ambitious goals for DCA in 2026! Onward and upward!
